“Implore what touches your heart and let it fuel your persistence.”

My Philosophy :
Believe Originality. Believe Authenticity

There is one thing, I ardently believe in–Not living on anybody’s borrowed vision. Because one day either you are going to outgrow yourself from that vision or feel frustrated because that wasn’t your vision in the first place.

An authentic vision is created when your heart beats along with your head. I specifically kindle this aspect whenever I start a new project.

In order to come up with something spectacular and original, it is essential to remain unaffected by anybody’s impressions and unwanted noise that lurks in the background.

With my team, I am right now geared to innovative digital marketing model for the organization which emphasizes empowering individuals in their very own local environment. This training module blends a user’s online and offline journey, delivering enhanced results and user experience.

In 2018, I happen to take charge of the Art of Living Digital as The Global CEO. I, along with my teams spread across the globe, have successfully built a digital ecosystem of 200+ organizations in 160 countries under the Art of Living Foundation.

Early years

“As we look ahead into the next century, leaders will be those who empower others.”

                      – Bill Gates

As a young 20 something, when I was applying for my masters in the US from a small city in India and being in awe with Bill Gates; I often wondered how Microsoft got formed?

I was always fascinated by Bill Gates’ career path, completely smitten with what he did with technology and came up with visionary ideas that transpired change at a global level.

Coincidentally, it just so happened that I landed my first job after graduating from Master’s in King County, Seattle, where Bill Gates had headquartered Microsoft.

Later on, I got a job in Seattle, bought a new condo, and was living a pretty smooth life. After some time,  I also got a chance to work for one of Bill Gates’ companies, which was yet another propeller to my career growth. Everything was in place for a successful climb up the corporate ladder. And then life took an unexpected turn.

At that point of time, seeing Bill Gates create the “Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation” after reaching the pinnacle of his career shifted something inside me.

I felt moved when I witnessed him making a shift to philanthropy after achieving everything in life. That’s when I started observing the life graph of some incredible visionaries: Bill Gates, Warren Buffet, Oprah Winfrey. I realized that they all reached the peak of their talents and careers and then moved towards Philanthropy.

This inspired me to move towards the ‘spiritual’ dimension of life and make a plunge into philanthropy at a much early stage in my career.

The person who told me to “START TAKING IT UP”

“A good leader is Satyadarshi (truthful), Samdarshi (equanimous), Priyadarshi (pleasant personality), Pardarshi (transparent) and Doordarshi (farsighted).”

For a long time, I have been a person who was satisfied with his “happy-go-lucky” ways. Luckily, I had learnt the “art of strategic visioning” and “Delegation”  from my father and Dynamism from my mother, two complementary values essential to become successful in life.

But…..

I did not have anything concrete that I could go full stream. I always had this thing that I can do something big and I would not think anything small. But for a good amount of time, I did not know what was that “Big”.

Luckily, a leader came in my life exactly when I needed– Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar

I remember the first thing I asked him, “ Is there anything that I can do?”, he went ahead and said, “START TAKING IT UP”

I could not understand initially but then he came back and told me the same thing, “START TAKING IT UP”

And that’s when I realized why I am wasting for someone to come up to me and tell me what to do. I can do it now!

A true leader kindles the spirit of motivation within you and as an act of following his footsteps,I joined Sumeru which is a social entrepreneurship venture, where most of the profits go into supporting all the non-profitable programs.

Now regarded by many as “The Thought Leader” hustling behind the scenes, I have happened to work at different levels of the Art of Living’s Global Network at Sumeru Inc. and Art of Living Digital. With our teams spread out globally, we have positively touched the lives of thousands of volunteers around the world.

I am right now enjoying and exploring my foray into social entrepreneurship and philanthropy as an act of giving back something valuable to the world.
