As the managing director of Sumeru Ventures, my goal is to make this enterprise a new differentiated next-generation global technology fund.
The entrepreneur in me feels thrilled by the very thought of building and investing in disruptive ideas that use technology to advance the human race and create a lasting impact on the society. We are focused on partnering with later-stage growth companies as well as early-stage start-ups working on the application of next-generation technologies like Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Analytics, Blockchain, and Visual Collaboration (Computer Vision). We are primarily sector agnostic and stage agnostic. We evaluate ideas on sustainability, impact on the advancement of humanity and as well as the larger impact on the health and wellbeing of the planet and its people.

Sumeru Innovation X Program
Sumeru Ventures recently launched a new venture ‘Sumeru Innovation’ on 21 February, 2020 in global collaboration with SCET UC Berkeley, Art of Living Foundation, Pratian Technologies at Pratian Innovation Campus, Bangalore.
The Sumery Innovation X program is for technical professionals and innovators and explores key management and leadership concepts relevant to technology-dependent enterprises. The program will be headed by instructors from the industry who will be teaching the cutting-edge curriculum which has been designed by Dr. Ikhlaq Sidhu in collaboration with global technology leaders. On successful completion of the program, students will receive a certificate from SCET UC Berkeley and select students will receive seed funding to pursue their ideas further from Sumeru Ventures.
